My mind is in overdrive mode!

Without me having to remind anyone, you all know that it's the dawning of a new Monday!
The rain in our area has come to a halt, for which I am pleased because there is a pile of washing that needs hanging.
Its my hubby's birthday tomorrow and the master of the house has reached the young age of 57. I love both those numbers in that age, so I might apply them to some lotto ticket in his honour.
Trying to think of what to do for him is quite mind-searching - he has everything.
I thought of flying us down to a country town along the coast to spend the night and have a special dinner, but that would be without our children. That might be a little selfish.
Do you ever think of having your birthday celebration without your children and other loved ones?
Anyway I am sure that by the end of today I will have thought of something special for hubby . . . . . my mind is in overdrive!
photo is of André at the Athens Olympic Arena 2014 - its seems like yesterday.

I hope you can come up with a birthday gift that will melt the heart of your hubby. He is such a very lucky man to have a very sweet and caring woman by his side.

@Inlemay You are welcome..I agree with you. I also believe good memories worth more than material things we can give to our loved ones.

I believe they are special in the way we celebrate them - I would like to be at the Sea for my next one in November, not sure how I am going to organise that. When I am 60 in 4 years time I would like to be somewhere in Ireland or Scotland

@Inlemay While my Mum was alive they were very good at coming home most years for her birthday which was in February. But they're a long way away, don't have a lot of money and one finds travelling very stressful. I guess we've got used to not having them here for celebrations but we do miss them.

@Inlemay honestly, they prob wouldnt have done a thing at work. I have people I can have pleasant convos with, but no one I would consider a friend.

Happy birthday to your husband. I hope you think of something interesting and fun to do. I don't see anything wrong with just the two of you celebrating, sounds like a nice thing to do.
