What makes me proud? Is it their success in life? Or, is it what they become? I have few.friends during college. Few for there are just 25 in the class. I may not have become as what they are now, but they didn't make me feel that i don't belong to the "class". Through facebook, we still know each others whereabouts. What makes me proud now is, despite their success, they are doing outreach programs. Can not help not to congratulate them for doing such activity and i am one happy and proud friend of theirs. What makes you proud?

I think i managed to stood by completely strong during bad financial times and getting myself out on my own. this is what makes me proud. i am not financially successful like my friends who are offshore with big house and cars. but i am working on small things and trying to be happy. i don't compare anymore. i feel i am unique.

@Lucky15 at the end the goal is to be happy. not to be better than one another.

In today's world, these are rare stuff... so you should be preserved... Aha, that reminds me, this is another example where I can say you should be in historical books

I am proud of what I have become. My parents thought me to save money if I want to buy something and not to make credit first to buy what I like. I am like that and so there's no financial problem.

It's good that your college mates are doing good now. As for myself, I am proud of being myself, feeling contented with my life, do what I love to do, and be able to help others as well.

@thesids You have many things to be proud of. Knowing very little of you, I still can see that. You can't. And no, I am not going to list them for you. It's important you get to know about them yourself.

Success is a relative term. Definition of a success varies from person to person. Take an example of a poor man who has never been to school. Now he sends his son to the school and his son qualifies School certificate exam. It a huge success for that man. Now consider an eminent wealthy person. He will not consider qualifying the school exam as a success because his aim is high. What is important is the self satisfaction. If i'm happy with what I'm ,then its the most pleasing thing in the world. After all we are responsible for our own success or failure,so we should take our satisfaction into consideration.

I am proud of my hard work and perseverance that made my children graduate and become professionals. I am proud because I am strong and had surpassed all the challenges that came to my life. I am proud because I am me and I am what I am.
