It sucks to have uric acid

This back pain is terrible, I feel like an old man with a crane, except that I don't have one. I went to one of our tenants and tell her my situation and I was surprised when she shared her experience about having this illness. Turns out I was eating some foods and vegetables that were also high in purine, besides the soy content noodles. This is far from over, and probably gonna take a while before it subsides. I've also stop taking pain relievers since it's not gonna go away soon unless I started eating right. They were moments were I was eating too much even though it's just fruits. After that talk I decided to do more research, but frankly I don't know what to eat anymore except the greens that I've been eating for the last couple of days. I tried to be healthy and fit again, though I lost 13 pounds i feel it's a little too late. Still, I got seven months to go loose weight.

YOu've been eating noodles? Wow! Have you talked to your doctor? Specialist normally tells the patient the proper diet they should take when they have high uric acid. You should have known that already.

Hello @toniganzon No, there was no specific diet plan he prepared for me. I was referring to a noodle soup, but I only add this once a day filled vegetables. I don't know if you are preferring not to eat noodles in general, because there are noodles that I don't eat now.

Stay away from meat, beans, string beans, eggplant, egg, and okra for awhile. Eat small amounts of selected fish and other seafoods and also DRI nk lots of water.

@MediciMoor not really but if you have arthritis or gout for that matter, any food rich in protein should be avoided or kept to a minimum.

Why seven months? Are you getting married or what? Yes, there are so many foods to avoid when you have high uric acid (same here). Drink lots of water, and when I could not endure the pain, I take purinase as recommended by my doctor.

I wanted to loose weight before the end of the year simply because it was my own birthday promise and new years resolution @acelawrites . I seriously don't want to wait another year for it. I'm taking atenurix but with high dose this time.

I suppose the doctor has given you a medication to lower it . My father used to have a high uric acid and he was given purinaise (i don't know the spelling but this is how he pronounces it , ha ha ha)

Haven't your doctor prescribed you colchicine for your uric acid? You could always flush it out with lots of water mate. All the best.
