I found some ants inside the house. / myLot

I don´t like ants. They are small creatures here and they don´t do much harm. But I have told them over and over again to stay at the garden. I will not bother them there if they don´t come inside. Today I woke up and felt something tickling my hand. I looked and there was an ant walking there. I killed it, but then, as we were having breakfast, we spotted more. So now we are on a campaign to find where they came from. And I´ll put some ant poison in the doors.

The ants here do cause harm so I freak out when I see them! They are fire ants and they hurt bad when they bite! I hope you can get rid of them all.

Use some ground cloves too. Ants don't like it and it does kill them. I've also heard bay leaves and salt also works.

I have lots of bay leaves as I lave a small bay tree at home. I´ll try it.

And cinnamon. Though I think ours have grown immune to our tricks. I was just thinking our ant problem isn't as bad this year as in the past, and then I woke up to find our desk crawling with ants. I should have just kept my mouth shut!

Your discussion brought up my memories... they had arrived and asked me to train them in computers and I had politely refused. And then they went on a rampage... eating out the keyboard and virtually rendering the C key useless... So before you start finding and poisoning them, it would be better to ask them and try fulfilling their wants

I had found some ants in the last place we lived Marguicha and I put cinnamon down all around the outside and places where I thought they may be coming in. It worked for us.
