Have you ever met a famous person or more than one person and gotten their autograph? I have met two famous persons and gotten their autograph. But, those meetings were back in the 1980s when I wasn't as big of a picture taker as I am now, so I didn't even think about getting a picture taken with the person. First, my Mother, sister and I heard that the fitness guru "Richard Simmons" would be at our local Mall in Atlanta Georgia. He would be at the book store to promote his new book. So, we went and bought his book and stood in line for him to sign it. He actually said hello to us and gave each of us a kiss on the cheek after he signed our copy of his book! I will never forget that! Then, my best friend of mine at the time and I were visiting Los Angeles California because her brother lived there and we were visiting him and his wife and child and we had fun seeing some sites. We heard that the fashion designer , Calvin Klein would be at the local Mall to promote a new line of his fashion. So, my friend and I went to that Mall and waited in a long line and when we got up to him, he and two of his models signed a poster for each of us and said a quick hello. It was a fast paced event because it was a long line that had to keep moving. Those are two events I will never forget.

I've met quite a few famous people. Mostly acting folks, but quite a few authors, and some astronauts.

@LeaPea2417 A lot of science fiction and fantasy authors-- Anne McCaffrey, Poul Anderson, Robert Heinlein, Marion Zimmer Bradley, CJ Cherryh, among others. The actors I shall remain quiet about. Harrison Schmidt I had the pleasure to take some classes from.

I would enjoy meeting Richard. I met Oprah on two different occasions. I have some pictures I may post sometime. I saw a few musicians too, but Oprah is the only celebrity I actually spoke to.
