Who Likes Dark Chocolate Hershey Kisses?

Dark chocolate has a lot of great benefits, because of the antioxidants.
I don’t buy much candy or sweets, but I do like to keep some dark chocolate kisses around, when I want something sweet. I just need a few to satisfy my craving for chocolate. So, I’m happy to know there are some benefits to eating dark chocolate.
The average American eats a lot of sugary snacks and candies. Sugar is really bad for us though. Cancer feeds on sugar, I’m told, not to mention tooth decay and diabetes. So, I really try to limit my intake of sugar.
Soft drinks are full of sugar too, so I NEVER drink soft drinks. I have a friend who drinks soft drinks all day long. She’s very overweight and has diabetes, but she still drinks them. Not very wise of her.
What is your drink of choice?

You should REALLY try to change that habit, for your health. It might be a difficult thing to do, but your health is the most important thing you have going for you. I switched to lemonade and now I don't even think about drinking soft drinks.
Lemons are a wonderful source of Vitamin C, so I haven' t had a cold or sore throat in years. Lemons also are a natural diuretic AND lemon juice keeps your body's PH balance where it should be.

@Jdaw1985 Yes, you would have to do it slowly. Cut back a little every day and you can also replace the caffeine by drinking some tea or coffee.

And I hope you never get diabetes. I am not a diabetic either.

@trivia79 I try to avoid them for the most part. Sugar is the worst thing a person can eat, I think. But, once in a while, I just need a taste of chocolate.

I like tea also, but I try to drink a LOT of water too. I have Spring Water delivered to my house every two weeks and they provide a cooler, so the water is cold and refreshing and has a good taste. That makes it easier for me to drink water, when it tastes good.

Dark chocolate is the best choice. I always have some on hand, but really limit myself. Just a couple dark chocolate "kisses" and I'm good.

I drink a lot of water too. I have it delivered to the house every two weeks. I have the cooler, just like they have at places of business and the doctor's offices. The Diamond Springs Water guy came today and brought three big bottles of water and took the empty bottles. In the summertime, we will go through 4 bottles or more every two weeks.
