Oops and Progress

I knew I had a doctor's appointment this week for blood work. I couldn't remember when. When I didn't get the reminder call yesterday, I figured it was for tomorrow and called to verify only to find out it was this morning. Oops. Hey, I'm not perfect. I did however, make the appointment for tomorrow morning. I need to set my alarm clock for 6 AM. I won't be staying up until 3 AM tonight. My appointment is for 8:10 AM. The good thing is I don't normally eat that early anyway, so fasting will be no problem. I also asked my son if he wanted to get up that early and go with me since the blood work won't take very long, we can then go over to DMV and he can take the written test so he can get his driver's license. So if he's awake that early, that's the plan. I also want to get over to the housing office and fill out the paperwork. So even if his eyes aren't open that early, I will still be doing that before I get back here tomorrow morning to get my day started here. So tomorrow will be a very busy morning. As for the progress, I just e-mailed 10 chapters of Scarred to my friend to look over. I have 18 chapters left to go over before I'm finished with Scarred and can get it into the editors hands and they can then work their magic with the cover and help me get it marketed. They're going to help get it into some Mom and Pop stores, so it will actually be on shelves in the local area. I'm so excited to see that come about. Now all that's left is to get Freedom's Cry finished so I can start the editing and revision process on that one as well and see that one published. It would be nice to see that one published by the end of the year. But I don't know about doing that with the first three going into second edition. I might just wait until they are all ready first before publishing it. I'll talk to my editors about it before any decisions are made regarding it. So that's been my day for the past four hours. So now to get some interaction done and see if I can actually get caught up with my notifications. I don't know though since I have 174 again and I'll be going to bed early tonight.
