Why does US tops in having most serial killers?

I was googling about countries with most serial killers. US topped it. There were many reasons stated behind this problem, like media, guns, culture, etc., etc. I think a coin has two sides and you have to deal with both sides. US is the most advanced country in the world. So, the downside of advancement comes with it, unfortunately. The more you are advanced, the more negatives will compensate to maintain the equilibrium. What do you think about this? You would not find serial killers in tribes which are still dwelling in the jungles and are still not indulging with the advanced civilization. There are no rapes, kidnappings, murders, etc., in those societies.
