what can you say about my Baking Soda facemask?

I choose baking soda to treat my face from pimples because i used to have a special toner but i still have lots of pimples alive therefore i switch to baking soda ,so far so good it seems like my pimples lessen and hope it will thoroughly effective until i get rid all my pimples.I got this fact remedies from internet and lots of testimonies that baking soda is effective to fight against pimples.
what can you add regarding this matter?any reaction or opinions..or any suggestions

maybe for the meantime keep your hair away from your forehead like using a headband and minimize using hair products like gel, hairspray.

yes thank you,that's what i did always put on my headband.and i just use gel or hair spray occasionally.Anyways ,thank you for your suggestions

I have problem buying baking soda for house cleaning.
It always runs out of stock in the supermarket.
In the end, I have to get the one for baking cake, and these are more expensive because of the container used.
If I have more baking soda, I may try it on my face.

@sarameastrong wow, you really are a good example for homemade cleansing recipes.
I think after you have tried all these natural products, you will not ever use commercial cleanser again.

I have used baking soda and it can have great benefits. Since I have oily skin, I have noticed that the oiliness has reduced drastically. It's an exfoliant as well as and after using it, my skin is soo smooth and soft! Prolonged usage has helped my skin. However you must be careful about baking soda as it can be very drying. Also since it's very basic, your skin may have an adverse reaction to it if you use it too often. I use it twice a week and it has definitely helped. You can use apple cider vinegar as a toner. It will not only close your pores but will also neutralize the pH and bring it down to the natural values.

exactly,its true baking soda effects very dry skin.Anyways other than that ,i currently use apple cider vinegar as my toner for everyday.
