In this way I will save well over 200 Dollars a year.. It is that expensive to use a TV in Sweden..
The interesting thing is that we can watch the programs on the Internet.. Most times I watch the news and maybe some nature programs. If there is something really interesting going on, I can go to my neighbor, but my IPad is enough most times.

It is hard to believe that it costs so much to watch TV. Here there are several free TV channels but most families already have cable TV and it is not expensive at all. Today people don't spend longer time on TV. But in fact you can still watch the TV channels from the internet and it is much more convenient. I don't really need a TV today, too. But my parents still need it

A good thing is that one can choose when to look at the programs - no need to remember what time they send the news etc..

Just curious, why is it so expensive to use the tv? Is it in terms of cost of electricity, or cable or some other cost?

I watch all my TV online for free. Go to CTV, CBC, etc. And don't forget all the spiritual movies and videos on JWTV.
