Do you have consistent meals in the morning?

During the past few years I kept reading about the necessity of turning breakfast into the most consistent meal of the day in order to accumulate the necessary proteins and vitamins that would provide us with enough energy to function well throughout a long and busy day. However, my favorite and most consistent meal still remains lunch, as it has been for decades because when I wake up at 6:30 am on regular week days I just don't feel like eating too much. Maybe the fact that a hard day of work lies ahead diminishes my appetite and prevents me from changing my eating habits, but nevertheless things can be even worse as some of my acquaintances prefer to eat almost nothing in the morning, which is definitely bad for their health. Anyway, do you support the idea that breakfast should be the richest meal of the day, and do you eat really well in the morning?

I do not like eating rice in the morning but my parents do not allow us to leave the house with an empty stomach. As a result, I have been used having my breakfast everyday. Once, I skip my breakfast, I feel dizzy afterwards. Just like with you, I know also some people who just want to have a bread and coffee in the morning rather than the expected meal for breakfast.

Your parents certainly did a great job by not allowing you to leave the house on an empty stomach. Many good habits are formed in the childhood and once we get used to them we will respect them for the rest of our lives.

That's good for you, I guess it helps you feel energetic for many hours. Maybe I will follow your example and switch from lunch to breakfast one day, but of course old habits are hard to change.

Coffee is also indispensable for me in the morning, but only after I eat something.

What I know and practice is to make all my meals as healthy as it should be. I eat a healthy breakfast just as I eat healthy lunch and dinner.

Good for you that you do your best to eat healthy food as much as possible, it is something that we should all do if we want to have a long life.

@polaris77 Yes, even if we do not feel lousy or moody, we will find it hard to focus on the task at hand.

That's a good habit, indeed. I'm sure I would lousy too if I skipped breakfast from time to time.

It's good to hear that other people prefer a good lunch to breakfast, just like me, and can function very well this way. I guess our preferences for a solid lunch will not change and it's probably better this way for us.

Yes I do support but do not follow.
We need ample of time to have consistent breakfast, as I find time short, I cannot habituate to it.

I don't usually call it breakfast anymore as I wake up at noon already cause of my schedule. But I usually eat a good meal already for starters.

Yes, you could call it lunch rather than breakfast, and I'm convinced that having a good meal after you wake up works very well for you regardless of the hour at which you enjoy it.
