I think it's very important to not be clingy in a relationship. For me it's all about finding the right balance so that your partner knows you're interested but they aren't getting suffocated by your clingy-ness. So here are some tips on how I try not to be clingy: 1. Let them text first. This is something that I try to do especially when I know the other person has a busy schedule or likes to sleep in. I usually just let them text/message me first when they are ready to do so. 2. Give them space. This can mean personal space. I know it's hard not to latch on to someone when you want to show them affection but it's important to know that it might be a bit overwhelming for the other person if you are constantly hanging on to them.
