Thats right they are coming out.
My hubby found this guy under some wood.
He was movining the wood to a pile.
It is only a copperhead.
Good thing is he saw this litle guy before he seen him.
Yes it would have been an ER trip if he had been bit.
No we did not kill him we set himm free into the woods.
That would have been mean to do that.
We love all kinds of animals and creatures.
Do you?

Nope! Nope Nope!
I don't like snakes, yikes!
I'm glad you released him, but I can't say I'd do the same.

I am not a friend of the snake. I would have ran to the house screaming for my husband.

We don't have any venomous snakes here. I'm right above the Eastern Continental Divide, and venomous snakes don't live on the northern side, only the southern side. 20 miles from here the area is saturated with Timber Rattlers.
It's kind of amazing that your husband was able to catch the copperhead and release it safely.

@Jdaw1985 Yep, all the snakes that used to bite me when I was a child didn't do much to hurt me. :D

I just photos of my friend on FB. Posted a photo of a snake he caught. It is a yellow snake. The only difference is -- he killed it. Good job to you for setting it free into the woods

I'm glad he could handle it without getting bit by it, and you were able to let it go without it doing any harm.

My step-father used to gave me snakes when I was little. I have heard of a new story that a Lowe's employee was bit by one that was in a tree.

I don´t like poisonous creatures. Sorry. I kill the brown recluses I see. Fortunatly, I don´t much of them. But I am friendly with other spiders that eat brown recluses´ eggs.
