Finally asked for my week vacation!

So i have been this whole week gaining the courage to ask my boss for a week of in July to travel with a friend of mine.
Today i grabbed the couraged and asked and he said yes right away.
Now all we have to do is pick a destination and find a good price and off we go traveling.
OMG I can't wait to have some vacation.

I don't know when my next vacation is. You're lucky you could ask your boss for that. But I am my own boss and I don't think I could leave my company that easily since most of the decisions come from me and people won't be able to function without me.

I wasnt really afraid of asking, i was going to ask for 2 weeks but i take care of alot of things here. My colleague only does payments. I am afraid to leave her alone with my service for 1 week alone nevermind 2 weeks,
I am going to try and teach her everything before i go to make sure things go smoothly.

Glad to hear you got a week off like you wanted, I bet you are going to have loads of fun wherever you go.
My next holiday is 4 days in France with my husband and parents on August. We are going to Mont Saint Michael which looks just like Hogwarts lol.
