It symbolizes long life, the reason it is always.served.
Pansit.
Noodles.
This noodle recipe that is made out of rice.sticks sauteed and mixed.with vegetables--carrots, cabbage, and beans and plus chicken or.pork.too.
That is just the simple ingredients. But if we want.the noodles to be "sosyal" or level.up, quail eggs, squid.balls are being added.too.
This is what is usually prepared or present in a typical Filipino birthday party.
Do you have any food that is considered "always present" on birthdat.parties?
*This is it...pansit!

Wow that looks yummy! Hmmmmm
We always serve that. And we always cook that at home even without birthday parties. Hihihi When I or my mother is in the mood to cook, we cook that for our snack. Hihihihi

A funny entry @Lucky15 but you are right, noodles are always present in a birthday party though I think if it's a children party, rather than pansit, they opt to have spaghetti instead to appeal to the children's taste buds!
As for me, I like my pansit with lots and lots of calamansi or lemon

@Lucky15 Oh yes! Lemon would do too... when we were working abroad, finding calamansi was difficult and when you do find a bunch, it's too expensive compared to getting lemons.
So I can say that I got used to using lemon to food that needs calamansi.

@Lucky15 And you just take charge of eating? The "pansit" looks yummy though. I hope you can send some to me :)

@hereandthere Sometimes they have it, just that I've been eating veggies for the past weeks for breakfast and dinner.

If my mom is still alive, then there will always be pansit... but my siblings and I usually prefer pasta in red or white sauce.

Unfortunately some of those veggies are no longer suitable for me. I missed pancit already if it wasn't for my condition. hope you had a nice party.
