Sometimes I see people hungry for money and going after it with all the comforts in their life and huge amount of money in their bank account. What do you think about people who wants more and more money and does not spend them for their needs? Do you think people should spend money for their basic needs?

What are they going to do with their money if they do not spend it for their needs? Does it mean they do not buy enough foods or clothes? Does it mean they earn money and they do not have a house? I find this very unreasonable.

@ajithlal I see. I think it is their personality. I get confused. I thought they do not spend money for their own basic needs which is I think very irrational.

I don't really understand people like these ... They earn but don't spend .. What's the point in earning then ??

I haven't seen anybody searching for money and not spending on their basic needs. When we say basic needs, it's food, clothing, and housing.

I think the desire to have more and more money is a disease which affects people to such an extent that it makes them forget that there are things more important in life than money and that money can't buy immortality. Yes, money is important for each of us, but having and especially multiplying them shouldn't turn into an obsession; we should think of money as a way to improve our life and not as the purpose of living.
