Writing a short story.

Hello....I have to write a short story with the title "How blue is my sapphire". It can't have more than four characters. Can you all give me some suggestions? Something to start with...

I like to write humor so I would probably make sapphire into a girl's name, and the prince/boyfriend tries to knock her out of a blue mood.

Sounds good but unfortunately I can't write humour. I'm not good at it. Writing humour is difficult.

"It can have more than four characters"?? Did you mean four hundred characters or four hundred words?

How can you write a short story with only 4 characters? Do you mean a story with 4 "human characters"? I think to know that this is a writing contest organized in India. I believe that there is a meaning behind this title.

There aren't many. The only other detail I have is that the narrator of this story speaks of himself/herself about something that could have had a huge influence on his/her life but he/she was able to shrug it off.
