Should I Start Playing Sims Again?

I used to be addicted to playing The Sims 2....on my PS 2....that's how long ago it was. I remember playing it for hours and hours. I ended up getting grounded from playing it when I informed my parents (in all seriousness) that my hunger meter was low and I needed food. Apparently when I can no longer differentiate between video games and real life, then we have a problem.
I never really played it that much after my grounding period was over. I did buy The Sims 3 for the pc but never started playing it. Now my sister has started it up on my computer and I've been watching her play. Part of me would like to buy the newest version and try it out but I don't know if it would be a smart idea. lol
I'm older now so I feel like I have better self control. On the other hand, if a game is really good I convince myself that sleep isn't really that important....
Hmmm.....decisions, decisions...lol

oI lve playing the sims. I have been waiting to play the sims for a while. I think I might do it. as long as you set a timer or something telling yourself GO TO SLEEP then everything might be okay!

@DesirousDreamer I'm waiting to buy the pc version of Sims 4 cause it's pretty expensive! I believe it's 50 bucks. I'm hoping it will go down soon...

well maybe you could set a timer, so that you don't over play it.

That's a good idea but I'm not sure I'm that disciplined. lol I may just ignore the timer....

I say go for it... I play for 30 minutes a day... in the evening usually and most of the time I can shut it down after the timer goes off... but have to admit that there are occasions when I play for a while longer... if the story line is getting interesting lol!!
