i prefer AMD since i am using one.I use AMD because
--comparatively cheap
--high performance
--high stabilty
--greater support for gaming
i recommned AMD FX 64 bit computing. It has many advantage over intel pentium 4 processors.but i heard that intel pentium duo core2 is much better than other precedures and a like performance with AMD 64.so i f you are going to buy a new computer either you go for AMD FX 64 or Pentium 4 Duo core 2.
thank you!

I would defenetly go for an Intel..more precisasly A Core2 Duo..they are the new Intel procesors and it includes a new core, wich is more faster and more powerful than a Pentium 4 or any of the other AMD procesors...And they are not that expensive since Intel lowered prices last year !
I didn't had the chance to experince one myself, but I have seen test and benchmarks...ant it roks :D

I agree AMD is cheaper than Intel but i would prefer quality than quantity. I will always prefer Intel because it has many features, like multi tasking, multi threading, etc. AMD need some good atmoshpere, but Intel can run in any atmosphere.
Intel is the best.

AMD still best, price and performance, no to mention game speed...
