Have you ever baby sit your young baby with someone else’s young baby? If not would you do it?

Someone asked if I could babysit for them, since I am a stay at home mom, but I really don't know if I can do it.
I am afraid that I would pay the other child more attention and my child would get less attention.
I just feel like I would be overly paranoid taking care of the other baby.
It just a feeling, I don't know because I have not tried. Have you ever experience anything like this.
My baby is 10 month and the other is 4 months.

There's one member here who has a baby herself but baby sit for others. I hope she sees your post.

When I was a kid I always had to stay with my aunt while my mother was working. There was definitely a difference in how my aunt treated me vs. her own children. She was kind and generous for the most part but there were times where she was cruel. I think it just depends on the person because now I have children and a niece. I would never treat my niece poorly or any other child in my care. If anything, I would pay more attention to the child that is not mines for the time being.

I would definitely give the other more attention. These are babies, 10 months and 4 months, that both need equally amount of attention are even more. Maybe if I had a twin experience in the past it would be so much easier. I might give it a try though.

I haven't but my aunt have done it and it worked. The child could play with each other. How old are we talking about though?
