Who still keeps a journal?

I used to have them every year; it's where I practiced writing. Back in the day, when facebook and other social networking sites are not available at my disposal.
I love having a small, pretty and really fine piece of notebook which I can use as my journal just to write all of my thoughts down. And I miss doing it. For 3 years now, I haven't kept a journal at all. I used to read my journals when I'm done with them and tell myself things like "good job!" or "I really did that?".
Anyway, I'm thinking of getting back to my old self and habit and will but a notebook and will try to see how it goes.

I still do, I have a collection of Midori Traveler's Notebook with three inserts each. I have different planner journals from filofax and kikki.k. I can't live without a pen and paper.

@slayer08 maybe you should. We have a group on instagram and in Facebook too. It's for all planner addicts. It's a costly hobby though.

@toniganzon oh I don't mind, I like anything crafty and creative. It's always fun and can take your mind off things.

since high school? wow..
I wish I'd kept mine, especially the ones I've written way back. But I had this stupid and needless ritual every end of the year, I would read my journal or diary and then burn them. What a waste! now, I have nothing I can go back to.. it would've been fun though if I can go back to a part of my past, not all the the time though.

My 2 boys are no longer with me, they are working far away for greener pasture and my youngest son has his own work and I can't almost monitor his daily activities.

I try to keep one and several times in the year, I pledge to myself that I would write it everyday and record my day irrespective of how boring it was. But eventually the patience just wanes away! :/

@slayer08 It is indeed. But I don't give up on the hope that I would have a full journal one day. I started writing in my journal again a couple of days ago. Today would be the third day. So yeah, I'm excited! :P

I still keep a diary, I always have one way or another since I was little. I have boxes and boxes of note books and keepsakes. I think it's good to keep a diary to remember even the smallest things that happened.

I still love journals! I love cute planners and designing them too. I guess I got to be consistent at updating them on a daily basis though.
