Hello! I'm going to be going to Orlando at Christmas and planning on going to the Wizarding World Of Harry Potter (first place on my list actually lol) and was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experiences there. I know what to expect and what is there but I wanted to hear from people first hand. Any hints or tips would be brilliant. Thanks, Suzy xx

I'll be at Disney World at Christmas, as it is our annual family tradition to go for the week between Christmas Day and New Years. I've been to Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure many times, but it's always during the summer or fall, so I'm not sure what to tell you to expect during Christmastime. If it's anything like Disney, expect large crowds and long lines. The week before Christmas and the week after Christmas are Disney's two busiest weeks of the year. I would imagine Universal would be just as busy! One thing I can tell you, is that Harry Potter is located in both Universal Orlando AND Islands of Adventure, so if you want to see and experience the entire thing, you have to buy a ticket to both parks. From a visitor standpoint, I think that is pretty low of them to do that, but as a business person I think they are geniuses for doing that! lol

Hi, thanks for the info, it is a bit sneaky to having in 2 parks but it's a money maker so can see why they did it. Sounds like I need to upgrade to the fast queue tickets. Xx

@suzybear That would be wise to upgrade. I can't believe I forgot to mention that! Whenever I go to Universal, I always upgrade...it's worth the extra money!
