A new challenge from @Jessicalynnt – this time the five keywords are moon, fog, quiet, glow, night.
Poem – Ill Met By Moonlight
Does the Werewolf have to see the Moon?
Can fog cause transformation too late or soon?
It doesn’t really matter which is right.
I’m not likely to meet a lycanthrope some night.
I never hear them howling here when I go
Out for a bite to eat as the silver glow
Lights up the quiet town down below.
There’s no fear of wolf-bite from the man by the fire
In the woods before me – shame that I’m a vampire
For who crescent Moon, cloud cover and mist
Are no obstacle and my pray has less time to resist
My swoop, descent, embrace and bite
Though sadly, unlike the wolf, I have to dine out every night.

Very nice. I'd never thought of it, but I suppose vampires do have it a little more freedom than werewolves. I'd rather transform to a flying creature than a canine one.

@crossbones27 a werewolf is human apart from about 7 nights a month - it doesn't feed as a wolf on non-full moon nights

the wolf doesn't have to eat on half moon, quarter moon, etc - vampires feed every night regardless

Very odd, but well-done poem, Arthur.

I wish that those of you that did these challenges put the requested words in italics or bold so we'd see that you did fit them all in without hunting them down. I did find them, but it took away from my reading somewhat.

Nice poem that relates about wild life and nature, so deep and meaningful.
