The internet has made meeting more people in one day easier than meeting 10 people in a year 20 years ago. The question is how honest are the people you are meeting? Are they presenting themselves as who they really are, or are they presenting a screen persona to go with the screen name? Some people feel safe online in revealing who they really are, after all, if someone appears to judge them they can simply not respond to that person. Others feel the online communities give them an opportunity to become someone other than they really are...someone they might like to be even... If you are fortunate enough to meet people who are presenting the 'real' them, you have a wonderful opportunity to learn about a person without any of the physical imperfections we all have getting in the way. As far as love goes, you love the person, which may well be what you have met and come to know, without all the other stuff getting in the way.

When people of opposite s e x meet and discuss about love and possibilities of having a relationship, that fails. How can one marry on the basis of photograph seen in internet and speaking over internet. May be, possible 1 in 1 million. Love has million facets. Earlier people used to say MARRIAGES ARE MADE IN HEAVEN. Now we can say MARRIAGES ARE MADE THROUGH INTERNET.

i dont know about actually falling in love just from chatting but i do believe that u can get a deep connection with someone through just chatting. I once started chatting with a man online and felt a deep connection with him immediately. I couldnt get him out of my mind!..I met him in person only a few days later and 1 year after that we were married!

of course you can! love is a funny thing, it can happen anywhere and anytime. I've met my bf online as well. although it's possible, please be careful as there's still a lot of people who cheats and have different identity online. Take care and Good Luck!
