The month of John, and it's all gone wrong!

Hi all Good intentions. I had plenty. I was going to start writing more regularly, interacting more. I have wonderful encouragement from @Inlemay and yet it hasn't happened...so far. There's just that annoying little distraction called life that keeps getting in the way!! I get up at 5:30am, get washed and dressed and leave the house around 6am. Then it's usually a 90 minute drive to work (sometimes more!) That gives me 30 minutes at my desk before starting work at 8am. This is usually used to catch up with the news and read and respond to a few Mylot posts. I'm changing that today and writing something instead, so apologies if i haven't responded to your posts. At lunchtime I may pop back here and respond to any comments. Then, after work, it's either a game of badminton followed by the drive back home, or a drive to the golf course for a few holes before heading home. Dinner and a spot of TV and I'm ready for bed!! (I'm getting old) Later

All that wonderful summer light and late afternoons giving you time to explore all your sports is not a bad thing, but at least we know now what you are up to, and if you eat your lunch quickly, you can maybe say hello to some others. he he he he he he he - Gotta love this drill Sargent!!

That doesn't leave you much time at all for MyLotting. What a shame you have such a long drive to work. That must get you down. It would me.

Yes, it's a drag. but it's been approved that I can work from home 1 day a week, so that helps a little.

@ison_1 My husband had quite a long drive to work and used to listen to audio books or just the radio.

@JudyEv Yes, the radio is always on, which means I get to hear about the traffic I'm stuck in!!

You have a 90 minute drive to work that is a long drive and not one I would want to make every day. Glad you are able to make discussions and can respond sometimes.

@ison_1 I would not like doing that drive every day.

The drive is a pain, mainly because it's heavy traffic

Seriously, you need to sort your priorities out! Life can wait. I often struggle to get on here. I need more hours in my day. Or, I just need a life with no job to get in the way of stuff.
