How to raise Money for a New Charitable Trust?

We are few friends, starting up a new charitable trust, to educate poor students, but we need money. can anyone suggest, how to get donation during our initial phase?

You could possibly try a "GoFundMe" page. You will have to put it together and share it around on Facebook and other areas and see if anyone donates.

Maybe use facebook etc to help spread the word and go around your area for donations.
