I used to go museum when I was young. For many years I have not visited them again, Things change.
We were not allowed to take photos but now I don't know the rules.

@Chungshop From what I know is not good to do pictures with flash becouse things deteriorate on it, but each museum has its own rules. Have a nice day!

the history ...stories and just the feeling of being in room with something that existed way back is surreal for me

One of my favourite places to go in Montreal is the Redpath Museum at the downtown campus of McGill University. This museum is free to visit, and houses an exhibit of cultural and archaeological displays. It's not a very busy place at all, so it's quiet. And there is really just so much to see!

@Ruby3881 Maybe people are not so interested in museums. Maybe they are interested in new...which is a little sad...becouse we forget our origins.

@pufitzamison No, other museums in Montreal are very busy. There are more than three dozen museums in Montreal, and some of the smaller ones are less known. Others, like the big fine arts museum, are always very busy.
