CONFERENCE TIME!!!!!!

Yes, I know "all caps" is considered "shouting," but I am shouting!!! It's time for the country music conference!!! What is this conference? It's a bunch of scholars, historians, and authors reading their papers to one another. Oh, and there's food. Lots of good food. And "picking parties." The first one is tomorrow night amid a wine tasting party at the host hotel. It's so much fun, and very humbling. Most of my friends accuse me of knowing "everything" about country music. About the time I start believing their lies the conference rolls around and I discover how little I do know about country music. I have my presentation loaded on a flash drive (even though I am taking my computer, too), my guitar tuned up, and I'm ready to head to Nashville! I'm even ready to submit my proposal for next year's conference!! I love conference time!!!!!
