Thinking of setting up an art store online / myLot

So, I just came back from using my myLot account and I think it changed a lot. I have been in hiatus from using this system and I think there are lots of things to catch up to. Anyway, as the title goes, I am contemplating on setting up an online store for my art works. Any tips, dos and donts that you can suggest or advise? Any inputs are welcome!

I use Craigslist to sell speakers I've restored. A friend of mine sells art on-line. Her rate of sales is fairly slow, but shes established some good contacts.
