There are eleven (11) countries claiming that they are not involved in a war … right at this moment! Once again the Quora intelligence community has done the impossible. Asked a question that made me think! The question was: Is there a country that has never been in a war? No doubt we can all guess the answer. Nevertheless, you might find reading the responses very interesting. I'm just glad asking the question didn't start a war.

People are not only divided by territorial borders but also through social, political, religious, and economical difference. Conflicts that often escalate into open warfare is inevitable.

The key word is “divide”. Sad to say somebody added the words “and conquer”. “Divide and conquer.” Must have figured it was catchy phrase. Cause a lot of folks sure caught on and tried to followed through with it.

@cmoneyspinner _It's in man's nature. The instinct of the primeval hunter and the need to survive through any means. Then the idea of properties or personal belongings came about and greed rear it's ugly head. I think there would be less conflict if women made the decisions. We're more of the nurturing type.

I would chance to say that there isn't a country in the World that has not been involved in a war; whether they initiated it, were the cause of it or, simply, the unwilling participants or victims of it. I could be wrong...I'm sure I'll find out in short order(haha).

When brother killed brother it opened the door for resolving conflicts by violence. That's my take on the history of war. Of course, I could be wrong.

Even those saying they have not been have suffered in some way because of a war somewhere.

I don't know because there are countries who do not directly involve or initiate a war but being an ally of one country who is at it, can make it a target of the enemy. Just a victim.
