Why should people marry more than once?

May 26, 2016 2:56am CST
Do men and women require to marry more than once? If the marriage is out of love, then men and women should love the right person. If it is arranged marriage, then good enquiry should be done about the boy and the girl before marrying. Unless the situation ends in no compatibility at all.

I don't want to marry the second time. I love my situation now. I am more free to decide on my own and do what i want to do. Maybe the reason why other people marry more than once, it's because they were not happy and contented with their previous marriage. For me, marrying more than once is not a requirement. It depends on the person if he/she will get marry again.

Thanks Cristy, yes actually marriage gives a companion, and at old age they make a difference. But if the partner has no compatibility then marriage makes no sense.

Thanks Sabaji, if first marriage fails, then the husband or wife should go ahead with life alone.

@sabashekh Thanks Sabaji, you want to mean if the 2nd marriage fails, the same couple will try a third marriage also? Because unless anyone files a case, there is legal bar.

It's not a requirement, but If they want a second chance to get things right, they should have it. However if they want things to work out this time around, they should stop and give themselves a year or more to really think things through.

Sometimes both parties lie and in such a situation whichever party is cheated has to move out of the relationship and if the boy or the girl is young get him/her remarried. It has happened in our house.

Thanks Aninditaji for the comments. If that had been the reality, then yes, the second marriage makes sense.
