Last night my friend Lili called me. She will come for tea (rather for coffee) this evening.
I haven´t seen her in a while as her mother has been ill and she has had to take care of her.
I am looking forward to see her. I´ll do my house chores in a jiffy so that I´m ready for her.
Do you like having friends over?

I have friends for tea at least twice a week. And I also have the visit of my youngest daughter who lives nearby.

That is so good when you have a friend like that for so many years.

Lili is a very close friend. She used to be a university chum and we continued our friendship along the years.

I do like to have friends over. We often host family get togethers in the summertime. People bring a dish to share and we have activities for the children. The men pitch horseshoes while the women gab.

When you answered with the horseshoes game, it reminded me of my youth.

Now that I´m inviting for my birthday party, I marvel at the great amount of good friends I have.
