My Gratitude Post

I have so much to be grateful for. Everything seems to be going all right for the first time in a very long time. I'm so used to telling everyone that I haven't had any word about the house, and now I'm getting ready to move. I went from being at the bottom of the waiting list to the top in a week's time. That's only God. There's no other way that could happen in so short a time. Then today my freezer started working again and I noticed it was even colder in the fridge than it had been for the past week. That too I credit to God. I had no way of getting it fixed or buying a new one and with me moving in the near future, both would be senseless to do, so was resigned to daily shopping. All this makes me realize that God truly is in control and there is nothing I could do to make those events happen the way they did. God does watch out for us and take care of all our needs. So I will continue to have a roof over my head, a bed to sleep in, and food on my table. I will also continue to have a car to drive to get me where I need to go. I've also noticed something else lately as well. I was beginning to worry because I was becoming more forgetful, and lately I've remembered everything I need to do. It feels like my memory is working great again as well and I was worried about that. I just hadn't expressed it. Another thing I'm grateful for is that since I decided to give up the fight for the house, my headaches are almost non-existent. In fact it seems the only reason I'm getting one now is when I forget to eat as it's gone shortly after I eat something. It's great waking up without a headache. Things are looking up. It feels like the chains holding me in bondage to bad circumstances, have broken off me and I'm free. It feels great to have that weight off me. So with the stress level in my life greatly diminished, I expect the mess on my face caused by stress to clear up and become smooth again. I'm using lemon juice as an stringent to help it heal. I'm truly grateful for all God has done in my life. He has met and is meeting all my needs. What are you grateful for? Thanks for reading.

I love this post! I am so glad your headache has stopped, housing is sorting out quicker than 1 week ago. your appliances are working again. Your memory is good and your stress is easing up. Like you said only God can work all these in place at once. This post reminded me of the time before I moved to Ireland, I had no money, no place to live, no job. Then God heard my prayer and in 3 weeks I had all the above. It's not something human effort alone could have accomplished! So ya we are very fortunate indeed.

Yes, it's been two years since I started working towards trying to keep the house, but it's best this way. Now I can move on to whatever God's best is for me.

stress isn't good on memory, or sleeping well, which is also not good on memory, glad things are looking up!

Those are wonderful things to be grateful for. For me, I grateful that when I finish here, I will be studying for the Sunday school lesson. I'm going through the 7 church's in Revelation, this week we will learn about Philadelphia. I'm also grateful that our dinner will include some more swiss chard from our garden. I love that we are able to have one, though it is smaller than years gone by, we still have one. God provides for all our needs, great and small. Have a blessed day

Yes he does, and it's wonderful to see how he works it all out. Your lesson sounds exciting. I wouldn't mind sitting in on that lesson. I love the book of Revelation.

Maybe God wanted you to live where you would have no repairs or up keep.
