Twins...Separated at Birth?

Jay and Cee

Jay discovered her doppelganger, Cee, not too long ago. Instead of being completely freaked out by her mirror image, she was utterly thrilled with the situation. She and Cee became best buds from the get-go. Now they get together whenever they can. And when they are together, there is a lot of running, chasing, drooling, and tug-of-war with sticks. Their relationship is a beautiful thing to behold.

They definitely look a lot alike. They look like a dog my husband had, and a dog my mother-in-law has now. Same colours and everything.

Ours is a Doberman/Mini Pincher mix. Cee is a Rottweiler/hound/something mix. Funny how they're completely different mutt breeds but still look similar. Probably because of the Doberman and Rottie in them. They're both wonderful dogs.

@dodo19 Then I guess it makes sense that our dogs look like y'alls, eh? Similar breeds.

Your dog has a twin.... Was she born an "only pup," or to a litter? Because I thought twins were common in dogs.

They're not really related. In fact, I don't know if our dog had siblings at all. We adopted her from our local humane society and they didn't share that info with us. I guess the better term would be that they're doppelgangers.

@Hanyouyomi Hey, if there isn't you should create it! Might become as popular and lucrative as facebook!

@Genipher Yep. Dopplegangers. Thinking now too there should be a site like an "ancestory.com" for pets. xD
