Feeling Very uncomfortable

So one day while I was a work I heard someone ask the cashier if I work there. She responded yes and he decided to walk around and look for me. It turned out he was my son's best friends grandfather. Well I know this man so after he asked me to have a coffee with him I didnt think anything of it. Well he than proceeded to tell me that he and his wife haven't been partners for awhile and he lives downstairs and she upstairs, he than continued to tell me he was looking for a female companion. I was so shocked but I did tell my son about it and he is going to speak to his friend.this man is old enough to be my dad. I don't want anything from this man.feeling very weird
