First Time at the Zoo

I was so happy to be finally be able to take my son to the zoo for the first time! It was a very nice day even if it was hot and I got super sweaty, it was definitely worth seeing my son so happy and getting out.
There were tons of neat animals, but i was upset that there were not any elephants at the zoo anymore.
Last time I was at this zoo was in 6th grade. I forgot how large the entire zoo was. We did get to see all the animals in it though. It took us 4 hours total to get through them all.
I got a few good pictures even with my cruddy phone camera.
When was the last time you went to the zoo? What is your favorite animal to see?

Glad you got that experience with your son and he had a great time. I haven't been to the zoo in forever but hoping to go to one this summer

My son is now 12 and the last time we went to the zoo was when he was a little over one year old and he got scared of the elephants lol!

We went to the zoo with a friend about 6 months ago. The kids loved it! And so did we. =) My favorite are the monkeys-they really try to entertain it seems.

It's good to hear that you had a great time at the zoo! The last time I went was about 2 years ago in the summer, and it was pretty hot and sticky too. I was glad I got to see the lions though (my favorite animal) :)
