Are the cardamom or Elaichi garden in Sri Lanka interesting?

Sri Lanka is famous for spices. Right from cardamom to black pepper, jaitri to jayfal, many spices are grown there. Majority of spice gardens are there on the hills. The Peradenniya Botanical Garden has a special section relating to elaichi or cardamom trees. No one is allowed to pluck anything. They can watch the garden. It is grown in the hills of Kandy. it is a beautiful site. There is special soil structure required for growth of the trees.
