It was a nice time with my daughter and sharing memories as we went to the 3 cemeteries. I took a picture of each of the graves of family that we visited. I took pictures of interesting graves of others (is that morbid?) I took pictures of older graves at the cemetery where my grandpa is buried. I even took a video of a poor baby bird that fell from it's nest at that one. The picture I am sharing here is of my dad's grave as well as his mother, my Grandma Stewart. The other photos that I took I will share on both rabadaba and tsu.

Noo I think headstones are fascinating and they give us a lens into another time and place.

I have not been to my Grand Parents graves in years. I need to make a special trip to do just that.

It is nice to remember those who have gone before us. I have been to some old graveyards.

You left some nice flowers there. Are those actual graves, or just memorial stones? I ask because in the UK each plot is about 6 ft long.

I find it sad to see other graves filled with flowers and lighted candles while others have none at all.

Hugs Marsha. That's so sweet and memorable of you. I feel sorry for that bird as well.
