Dreams do come true. My bantayan dream has come true. Thank you Lord. Its a nice feeling being able to embrace God's creation, to think that He really created this for me to enjoy. Im must be His very special creation. How to get to Bantayan: 1. From Cagayan de oro city; you have two options, first is the plane, a much faster way or like me, I chose the boat which was a regret coz I was 8 hours delayed due to boat technical problems. So next time I promised myself to take the plane instead. 2. From the port took the taxi to the North bus which was a few minutes away. I took the V-hire going to bogo instead coz its more convenient and the travel is not disrupted by passengers asking to stop for a ride. It takes shorter time with the vhire than the bus. At bogo point we took the tricycle to hagnaya port for 25 pesos each. 3. Its 170 pesos each for the ferry ride to bantayan. 4. Once in bantayan you can hire pump boat to virgin island and the boat rental is from 1200 to 2000 php, we were lucky, we got the 1500 complete with snorkelling gear and a very kind boatman. The virgin island is a must see place if you are in bantayan , its perfect, amazingly breath taking you wont stop swimming.
