Beautiful coconut trees in Alleppey.

One added attraction of staying in houseboats in Alleppey, is that the waters are fringed with coconut trees. It is a great site to see the coconuts hanging out of the coconut trees. Kerala is called God's own country. So the backwaters help in the growth of the coconut trees. The greenery really soothens the minds of people.
