There are millions and billions of people but there is hardly anyone who is not pleased to hear his praise and there will be hardly any person who has not been fooled by the flatterers.
HE IS very happy to hear his praise who doesnot deserve it particulrly the leaders of today. If public does not praise the leaders ,they themselves praise very much. They praise others only to bepraised. The great people neither care for praise nor blame.praise makes good man better but a bad man worse.
He is never your friend who praises all your actions but reproves your fĂ ult. These flatterers will make you flat one day.Who say at your face 'I can sacrifice my life for you' surely he will take your life one day.
Nobody can be big by self-praise.
Praise to the face,
Is open disgrace.
If a wise man praises an unwise( leader), it means he wants his selfish motive to be served.

Praising someone is not always bad but praising him all the time is because that gives him a myopic view that he is doing a great job but that is according to me or few people who praise that person and not with regard to the others (like leader of our nation-some people like them and praise them for their work but some don't)...In general view praising someone for his or her hard work can be taken as a positive view even if that's praising them on their face...Praising encourages a person but it may be that it limits that person's efforts in his or her work...So praising has both positive and negative aspects :)

A. fool always finds another fool to be praised. men are called wise because they learn from fools how to avoid folly.A successful flatterer. is really wiser than flattered because the flattered. Comes to know about. his folly after the event.
Yes, you are correct in saying that we should encourage by praising but only meek persons become more meek by it but the proud fools become more proud. The fools like no encouragement but false praise.
This flattery is not a thing of today. It has come down from the past from the time of kings.
Thanks.
