OK, let me explain what I am talking about. 2 Weeks ago I spent over an hour on the phone fighting with my cable company. To make a long story short, the call was over that I gave them originally $15 for a product that was explained that would help me with a problem and it was told to me that if I did not like it, I would get my money back. I called and they stated, "no problem, we will refund your money and we will credit you $13.50 back to your account". I stated ummm, I paid $15 which they agreed, but they refuse to do the $15.
To me it is about principal and not being taken advantage of, so I spent the next hour on the phone going to different supervisors and finally I got the $15 back. Was it worth $1.50, no, but I explained to them that was not the point.
So do you fight for your right, even if it is a small amount?

Sometimes if it is a very small amount I will let it go rather then waste a lot of time. MOST of the time though I will fight for it out of principle like you did.
