Last half day of school was today and we had fun

Today was the last half day of school. After school was out at noon my daughters friend came over until 4:30 pm. The girls had a great time coloring in adult coloring books, listening to music and playing outside (where my daughter accidentally killed a snake). The two girls and my son played twister together and that got lots of laughs. We went to the park and played for about an hour. A friend of my sons met us there. I got a little bit of a sunburn on my back. After my kids went to bed tonight I FINALLY got the computer room ceiling painted. It looks pretty good just with one coat so I am hoping that will be all it needs. I HATE painting I will be thankful if I only have to do just that one coat. I will check it in the morning. I won't have enough paint if I need to paint another coat. I am so tired. I was up until about 1 am last night. I need to go to bed now.

great, here in my country we were going to start our school soon..and the summer is almost ended here.. you have mention your daughter accidentally killed a snake?can u tell me more about it?

There is a rock in front of our house that usually has snakes under it. There was a cute little ring neck snake under it yesterday. When she put the rock back down apparently the snake was trying to squiggle out and she crushed it. She didn't even know until we went back out to look later and I saw what happened. It was an accident but she just wouldn't admit she did it so I was pretty irritated. That is a big issue with me when people cannot admit their mistakes or take the blame for their faults.

@stephjoy This snake the ringneck snake is gentle and not poisonous thankfully.

I wasn't up to late probably 11 pm I think is when I got to sleep. That is pretty normal for me. I feel less tired today!

Good that you had fun today. Do teach the imortance of being careful when out in the open to your kids. Take time to look after yourself too!

I told my daughter I do not want her touching that rock again because I do not want her disturbing and possibly killing the snakes under there accidentally again.
