Its sunmer-time here in India. An Indian summer is usually harsh. We Indians try to beat the heat using umbrellas, shades, by eating cool fruits like water-melon, by staying indoors and by drinking water. Do you have other ways to remain cool in the summer, friends? I'm eager to know

I am drinking lots of juice, squash, rose water (sharbat), etc. I am eating curd and cucumber too. Water melon and melon are on the list too. Right now I have a bottle of cold water with me. For me, I usually will wear lighter cloths and drink a lot of water and I will usually stay inside. With that said, when it is hot, I usually cook everything outside and that way it is not heating up the house.

Well watermelon unless you chill it will not be cool. I like it when its chilled in the fridge. I think it tastes even better chilled. I drink lots of water when it is hot.

I stay indoor with the A/C on and go outside only when it is not too hot.

As much as possible staying indoors. Going out only after 6 PM. Drinking lots of water to prevent dehydration.
