It's another gloomy day here in the Chicago area. Very humid but so far the temps are not bad but it's early. Supposed to be in the 80's today. The end of the week they are saying it's going to be in the low 70's. I like the sound of that, so maybe for a couple of days my husband and I will go camping and fishing. I used to love the hot hot weather but the older I get the less I can tolerate it.
Here is a picture of some daisies I think, not so good with flower names. I need some color on this otherwise very gray day.

It's pretty cool here too but the humidity is outrageous this morning. Glad you like my flowers, I do too.

Yes we buy them every year and they do so well in my garden. It was actually pretty nice here yesterday after the gloomy weather moved out.

They sure are bright - need sunglasses. I'll send you some sun, we lots lots. It was 93 yesterday and about the same today.

@ridingbet the humidity in the Chicago area is awful too. We have Lake Michigan one of the 5 Great Lakes and I think that's why it's so humid here.

@fishtiger58 I understand.You can do like by having breaks or gaps in between the camping ,have rest and can then continue again.

@shubhu3 We go on shorter trips now that we are older. But I love sitting by the campfire at night with a hot cup of coffee. One of my favorite things to do.

Pretty flowers! Its been hot here - too hot but today was delightful only because a storm is on its way and rain is expected tomorrow.

The gloomy day here cleared up. It didn't get quite as hot as it has been the last couple of days, we actually turned off the air. I love that.

Today our temperature is 28 degrees Celsius. Not too hot compared to previous months but it's still hot for us here. Sometimes it rain but we can still feel the heat.

Us too the humidity is awful in the Chicago area. I have the windows open for two days now I am hoping it doesn't get to warm today and I don't need the air conditioner on.

Thank goodness for air conditioning. I don't mind the heat so much when it's not humid. The humidity is awful in the Chicago area.
