A day of upsetting life

So our new landlord called me and told us it will more in likely be another month until we are able to move in and that really irked us because my husband was planning on working on his demo cars there and now he has no place to put them. So, we are stuck here for another month and now I have to pay our current landlord June's rent. Sad but irritated. Then found out we got dropped from Food Stamps because our income is $48 over the limit but at least we have our badgercare. Hopefully my husbands next months check is smaller than this one so we can get food stamps. Now I do have to start making a small income somehow to pay for food besides going to the food pantry. Sucks but nothing I can do otherwise. Got a few bills paid also. Then the lady from PoshMark this morning decided to cancel my order and keep the camo shower curtain I wanted. Oh well. Whatever. I got $8 back so better then nothing. The weather is decent, too. Got errands in the morning to run so yeah. I am doing good with earning when I am not online too. I earned $0.34 for the day so before I logged in and made this blog. Pretty good if you ask me. TTYL! Hopefully the rest of the week will be okay or better than today.

The extra money per month is nice but that stinks that your food stamps dropped because of it. I don't get much in food stamps but I am happy with what little I get. I appreciate any help I get. I hope things work out for you.

I've always been looking for jobs in the newspaper with the hopes there would be something flexible to my illness/lifestyle. But now that I have my Disability Tax Credit from the government I don't dare get any type of job for fear they take it away from me.

I was getting food stamps with my hubby working part time and then when he finally got his SSI they cut them to $12. He had to keep his part time job because the SSI alone won't pay all the bills, plus he has to pay the monthly medicare premium. With the SSI and the part time job we barely get the bills paid and now have to try to buy food too. I said this food stamp system is messed up. They count income before deductions, well it is a lot less after deductions. I just had major surgery and can not work but what I do online so that isn't much so I know what you are going through. Just hang in there the best you can. My best advice is get as much on sale and using coupons as you can. Sorry your landlord changed the date on you.

I hope all goes well. That's unfortunate that the landlord pushed back the move in date. Keep your head up and believe that things will get better.

Well I'm sorry about the food stamps but it is nice that your income went up. If my income goes up I'm going to lose food stamps, too, but I kind of think the extra money would be better. I don't know.

My girlfriend made $500 at a temp job last fall. She lost her food stamps and has to go reapply. Just for five hundred bucks.

Why did the landlord have to tell you this in the last minute? so uncaring of him. Here when we rent, when they say it`S 1st of the month, you can be sure on the first of the month you will be going in unless there is some serious earthquake. In my present apartment, already had the key almost a month earlier. Same with most apartments, you get the keys minimum 1 week earlier.
