No, an app would NOT make things substantially faster or easier than the website is already. It has been optimised for mobile use and all that you need to do to give yourself the speed of access of an app is to create a shortcut on your home page. This is very easy to do from the menu in the Chrome browser (it may be possible with other browsers but Chrome makes it easy).
Once you have the shortcut, just a touch on it opens MyLot exactly in the same way that an app would do.

@ryandreamz Open MyLot in Chrome and navigate to the page you want to set as the default (I use 'Most Recent Discussions'. Then, from the drop down menu (three dots vertically) at the top, select "Add to Home Screen" - on mine it's below "Find in page" and I need to scroll the menu to see it).

Yeah mylot seems to enjoy the traditional way or the time being. But in a world where everything is moving to mobile, I think its just a matter of time before they get an app. Till then, traditional way it is.

I have written a short "tutorial" on how to create a shortcut which works exactly as you would expect an app to do.
Several people have asked why there isn't an app for myLot available from the Play Store or the Apple Store. The reasons are as follows: a) The myLot website...

I love this traditional way. Having an app means lots of negative comments on play store & remember mylot doesn't like negativity

Negative comments will be there no matter how good your app is. Something that works for me may not necessarily work for you or vice-versa. Mylot has a huge following. So no harm in getting an app. Thats the way I see it.
