Saturdays & Sundays

Saturday is my busiest day of the week. It's my day to go to the market, clean the house, wash the dirty clothes and cook foods which all of us will enjoy eating.. It is the day which we are all in the house eating together, watching movie and spending much time talking about anything. Sunday is the day which we sometimes go out. Maybe to the shopping mall and dine in a restaurant. It is also the day for my daughters to have a date with their friends. So there are times that on Sundays we are not complete. I'm tired and busy but satisfied and happy.

@shubhu3 We have no maids to do those things for us. But I am used to it already. My Saturday is not normal if I did not do those works.

Me too. I am also very busy on weekends. I have to take care of my baby, clean the house and wash clothes etc. Luckily, I don't have to cook because my mother-in-law cook for the families every day. Sometimes, I will take my daughter to my mother's home and spend a happy weekend. I am not so busy there because my mom do the housework and I only need to play with my baby. hehe

WE, mothers have many responsibilities. That's a fact that we have to accept. It's tiring most of the time. But we cannot avoid doing it unless we have maids to do it for us.

@lovelymom That's true. We are happy because we accepted it as our responsibility. But if we consider it as a burden, we might feel disappointed or unhappy.

If one has relative good health, when they retire, then every day is a Saturday or Sunday to be enjoyed to the full.

Satisfied because I've done my household works very well. And happy because it's the only days of the week that we are complete.

Saturday and sunday are busy days, wonderful days for the house and the family activities, is a reunion moment. A freedom of thoughts. Women put more love and efforts on this day lo , not very man lo. Invest more time in the children, but they may not pay you; is the wiser choice than the time you listen to my comment lo

I can absolutely relate to your Saturdays. I just finished cleaning and doing the laundry Saturday is my "Wash-ington" day because its the day i wash clothes LOL. As a working mom, weekends are the only opportune days for me to do household chores. Sundays are for relaxing, reading and bonding with family.

I am used to it. I have accepted that it's my mother's role. That's why instead of hating it, I feel satisfied and happy. When we accept and love the things that we do , it will not be difficult for us to make it done.
