Sorry for that.. Anyway, I have this coworker, I don't know what's up with her but she's trying to get other people at work hate me. I know because one of the guys showed me her messages in their group chat and it has some pretty nasty things about me. I am one of the newbies at work and I don't have many friends yet. I hat a couple who I go out to lunch with and acquainted with. Anyway, this girl is about 30 and she's hating on me for some reason I don't know. Maybe jealous because I can effortlessly ace the training while she has some difficulty. I don't k ow.. All I know is that she is trying to have everyone gang uip on me.I keep to myself and I don't hurt anyone, so I don't know why she's that way. I'm getting sick of it

@topffer she ain't called slayer for nothing, she's trying her best to be civil. Try doing that to me and you would know what an office log book tastes like

She is.. Haha but it doesn't matter cause I won't lower down to her level. I'll show her I don't care so she'll learn she can't influence everyone. Strong her personality may be but I can be stronger because I know how to walk away.

At least you are aware of it. Now I think it's just best to try not to have too much contact with her, do your job, and try to be as nice to people as you can. I think that's all you can do for the moment.

I would ignore her until a good occasion to pay her back with a bonus for the interests. It will happen soon or later, so wait and keep quiet for the moment.

The guy who showed me is also from our team,I felt bad but I realized I should just get on with my life since I don't remember doing anything bad to her anyway. I'm just keeping my distance because I noticed since day one that she has n attitude program given she also bullied one team member whos now planning to resign

@slayer08 if you're not under her, no problem. she was able to bully one team member to resign? are the bosses not aware of the bullying?

@hereandthere were both on the same level the girl who resigned because of her bullying did not raise the issue to the management. Apparently the bullying happened in Facebook,. The bully was sending her threats and insults thru private message. The girl who resigned send screen shots of the bully's messages to me.

Avoid her as much as possible and just be as nice as possible to everyone else. Hopefully then she will look foolish for trying to make everyone gang up on you.

Office politics and intrigues cannot be avoided. You have two option, ignore her or confront her directly and ask her point blank what is it she has against you. Try to settle it amicably but make it clear to her you won't stand for her back stabbing.

I won't confront her because she has an attitude problem, I'll make her feel she doesn't exist. She's obviously an attention seeker

Just ignore her work on your own. The best weapon is not to pay attention to her and don't be affected on what her trying to say to you.

Try to your best to just ignore her. Continue on doing what you need to do at work. I guess, crab mentality will never be totally erased in Filipino culture. Well, in your case as long you are not doing anything against the company and you are not stepping on anyone, you can never go wrong. Let her die of jealousy.

@slayer08 Yes. Always be cautious and do not ever let her win on whatever bad motives she may have against you.

They say that insecure people would hate. I guess this applies to her and this situation should be a compliment to you. I understand that you may feel mad about other people hating but it is the nature of man. You should just let your skills and character speak to this person. Confrontations are okay but sometimes are a waste of time. You have better and productive things to do.

I'm working on it.. And it is indeed working to my advantage. I hope she gets off my back soon because I may not be confrontational but I don't tolerate this type of behavior as well

I hope I could do that.. It bothered me just now because of what I found out. I usually just ignore her but I'll probably just keep on ignoring it. After all, I ain't got nothing to be guilty about.
