We often end up making decisions based on what people around us tell is right. Usually, students are the victim of this mass decision making process and the "mass" include our parents and our judgemental society. So skeptic and stereotypical has the thought process become that it is almost generically embedded in them. The job or subject they find is right, they make us take it up. And we being the ever pressurised lot suffer the consequences of dragging something we don't like for the rest of our lives! Time has come for a change. Don't be forced to do something you don't like. Always follow your heart. Let's spread this idea and let everyone show the different talents they have , instead of thrusting them with one of our good qualities. Let's not be genetically mutated in that fashion , let's live freely.

Mostly the students. We're not allow to choose particular subjects. Everything should be studied.

@Meha15 I just make it as my general knowledge. If not, been years in study will be such a waste.

Sad for you :( but you should have thought about the future beforehand. Maybe the situations don't permit us to know or think from before.

Exactly my thought. I kind of dislike the stream I'm in right now, but like the subjects. So I wanna play out how it goes because there are mixed feelings. And no one pressurised me so it's on me. My sister has a very creative mind and leadership quality, which makes her a good candidate for creativity subjects. I am urging her to follow her dreams of becoming either an architect of a fashion designer. A person should pursue the line where he/she can flourish best.

True! Specially as a student I'm facing it a lot. It's like the whole society thrusting their opinion on us.

That's really good for you. You are lucky I guess. Because majority of people who don't like the stuff they do find no interest and end up being unhappy. But it's good for you that you love your course :)

@stephjoy it's good that you are a good wife. But in future when your husband is stable enough, I think you should work independently too. Women should get empowered. Use your skills and be a proud woman.
